Within an easy drive are the coastal towns and beaches of Lyme Regis Seaton and Sidmouth. The market town of Wellington is located 5 miles away and the historic county town of Taunton is 8 miles with all the top high street names restaurants and leisure entertainments. There is a community shop selling locally sourced food including meat eggs and vegetables and a public house centrally located in the village 0.5 miles away 15 minutes walk. The property offers ONE bedroom: king-size situated upstairs. The rest of the accommodation is all on the ground floor. Shower room: with large shower and WC. Lounge: large with stylish gas fire comfy sofas TV/DVD and Freeview. Kitchen: well-fitted and equipped with electric oven gas hob fridge with ice compartment and microwave. Outside: door leads out from the kitchen to a small patio area with seating (good early morning sun) so ideal for morning coffee. Lawn areas at front and rear of the property with seating; afternoon and evening sun make it an ideal spot for an evening drink or BBQ (provided). Amenities: ample parking. Wandering around the cathedral close, with its unspoilt medieval lanes is like taking a step back in time. And for a real sense of mystery, there’s Glastonbury (home of the world-famous music festival), supposedly the site of King Arthur’s mythical Avalon. All await you on one of our Somerset cottage holidays. The county has more than its fair share of beach resorts too. The Grand Pier at Weston-Super-Mare is superb, as is the wide beach here, while Minehead and Burnham-on-Sea offer a choice of traditional seaside pleasures. Meanwhile, for nature lovers there’s the wild landscape of Exmoor, and the Mendip and Quantock Hills, both Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Cheddar Gorge is truly stunning. Great for real Cheddar cheese too!
